Have you ever moved with fear?

Tell you what, when that happens to me I certainly do not take my sweet arse time!

Heb 11:7  By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.

So the big question is did it take Noah 120 years to build the ark?

The answer is NO!

Noah had 3 sons, and they were all married when God told Noah to prepare the ark for their salvation.

Gen 6:17  And, behold, I, even I, do bring a flood of waters upon the earth, to destroy all flesh, wherein is the breath of life, from under heaven; and every thing that is in the earth shall die.

Gen 6:18  But with thee will I establish my covenant; and thou shalt come into the ark, thou, and thy sons, and thy wife, and thy sons' wives with thee.

God never said future, sons or your sons future wives!

God was talking in the present!

So here is the proof that it did not take 120 years to build the ark

Gen_11:10  These are the generations of Shem: Shem was an hundred years old, and begat Arphaxad two years after the flood:

So Shem was 96 turning 97 years old when he got into the ark with his virgin wife of 95 years old!

So it does not take a math genius to do the math!

Answer: NOT 120 years in the building process
