Bible definition:

Lev. 17: 11     For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.

The blessings of the blood of Jesus, which comes trough faith is unlimited, and not limited. All that believe in Him shall not perish. It was established way before Moses’ time, for God told Cain if he did well and offer the right sacrifice he also would be accepted as his brother Gen.4:7

Isa. 53. 6     All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

Mt. 1: 21     And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.

Acts 2: 21     And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Rom. 10: 9     That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10     For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
11     For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
12     ¶ For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.
13     For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Rom. 15: 9     And that the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy; as it is written, For this cause I will confess to thee among the Gentiles, and sing unto thy name.
10     And again he saith, Rejoice, ye Gentiles, with his people.
11     And again, Praise the Lord, all ye Gentiles; and laud him, all ye people.
12     And again, Esaias saith, There shall be a root of Jesse, and he that shall rise to reign over the Gentiles; in him shall the Gentiles trust.
13     ¶ Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.
14     ¶ And I myself also am persuaded of you, my brethren, that ye also are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, able also to admonish one another.
15     Nevertheless, brethren, I have written the more boldly unto you in some sort, as putting you in mind, because of the grace that is given to me of God,
16     That I should be the minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the offering up of the Gentiles might be acceptable, being sanctified by the Holy Ghost.
17     ¶ I have therefore whereof I may glory through Jesus Christ in those things which pertain to God.
18     For I will not dare to speak of any of those things which Christ hath not wrought by me, to make the Gentiles obedient, by word and deed,
