I must say I am getting a little tired of Christians posting pictures of lions, lambs and so called pictures of Jesus with that Fabio hair do and with captions like “Type Amen!”

Hey have you not read:

Joh_4:24  God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

Yes!  Jesus is typified by animals and other earthly things but to put pictures of those things up is plain stupid and it shows a lack of understanding.

A type of Christ was used until the actual type became a reality!

I have asked people why they do that.

Here are two of the most popular responses.

1)      It makes me feel good.

2)      It makes me happy.

You should not be getting any “Feel good,” “Happy” emotions from pictures, that falls into IDOLATRY!

Here are a few other types of “Christ” and see the stupidity of the whole idea!

Rom_15:12  And again, Esaias saith, There shall be a root of Jesse, and he that shall rise to reign over the Gentiles; in him shall the Gentiles trust. root

Mar_12:10  And have ye not read this scripture; The stone which the builders rejected is become the head of the corner:

stone

Joh_6:48  I am that bread of life.

bread

I think you get my point, now imagine I started wearing these things around my neck like them crucifix lovers do!

Would that make God the Father or the Son happy?

NO!

They would say this guy missed the point!

What is the Biblical definition of “Missing the point?”

SIN!!!

G264

ἁμαρτάνω

hamartanō

ham-ar-tan'-o

Perhaps from G1 (as a negative particle) and the base of G3313; properly to miss the mark (and so not share in the prize), that is, (figuratively) to err, especially (morally) to sin: - for your faults, offend, sin, trespass.

So please don’t be a Hamartanoian!
